The Best Wineries in Napa: On The Glow Guide

Napa Valley

I will take a bottle of white, a bottle of red, perhaps a bottle of rose instead. When I visit Napa Valley I feel the magic every time. The pace is slow, the hills are rolling, the grapes are growing and the wine is flowing. This is one of my favorite places to visit to get away from the chaos of daily life and reconnect with my husband. There is no better way to do this than with incredible food, fine wines and awesome vineyard views. Napa has so many great wineries to choose from, so my Napa travel guide will help you navigate the vineyards sure to make you swoon!

Joseph Phelps Winery

This is the best of the best! From the wine to the views to the atmosphere and the people who run the vineyard, it’s always perfect. It is pricey but worth every penny. My husband and I love to sit back with our tastings and enjoy the most gorgeous views. You must try the Insignia and Bacchus wine. And be sure to reserve your tasting as it is by appointment only.

Quintessa Napa
Quintessa

Quintessa Winery

What a fantastic winery with some of the best wines in Napa Valley. Quintessa is known for their fine reds. You must make a reservation at this pricey winery.

Caldwell

Caldwell Vineyard

One of my favorite wineries! This intimate, family run vineyard sits on a huge property with a fabulous cave. The owners greeted us and told us stories about Napa and the beginnings of their winery. Come here for the incredible wine and the fantastic views. The tastings are robust with yummy cheese and food as a nice extra touch. This vineyard produces the most incredible whites and reds. Every single wine is a winner! The tastings are by appointment only, so be sure to call first to reserve your spot.

What a beautiful Vineyard Newton is. This is where you can find the absolute best unfiltered chardonnay I have ever tried! The views are simply incredible here and they offer a food and wine pairing that is out of this world.

Duckhorn Napa

Duckhorn Vineyards

For some of the finest whites and reds, food pairings, and views in Napa Valley, we come to Duckhorn Vineyards every visit. We love to come back to this winery time and time again.

V. Sattui Napa

This winery has the best deli and is the perfect place to end your wine tasting day. The deli here is so yummy. We love to have a final tasting at the bar and then get great sandwiches from the deli to picnic at the property. It’s a really lively, fun atmosphere and a delicious way to soak up all of the wine from a perfect day.

Cheers to a fabulous Napa trip! I will be sharing a separate guide on restaurants and hotels so check back soon!
